Art For Arachnoiditis Project YEAR 1 (2014-2015) > Arachnoiditis Survivor: A Portrait of Resilience Against Patient Harm In America (2014-2017)

This Conceptual Portrait Series (March 2014-March 2017) consists of SIX original illustrations of the Survivor Volunteers and one Sample Self-Portrait, drawn via original digital photographs and Reasonable Accommodations in the Studio with the intention to convey the humanity which still exists within the patient.

Art For Arachnoiditis is An Art, Adaptability and Empowerment Project about Living With Arachnoiditis. It was a Charitable Project of SheilaLynnK Art Studio fiscally sponsored by the New York Foundation For the Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, to empower survivors via participation in the Arts.

The AIM|Hatchfund Campaign in June 2014 met the revised $2500 minimum goal.This Funding covered the cost of supplies & materials for Portraits and the Arachnoiditis Art Exhibit.
