In addition to your Weekend Opening Event Hours (which you will attend and supervise); Your Show will be supervised by the owner and Open to the Public Weekdays during Regular Open Studio Hours. Any holiday or other Exceptions will be posted on your event announcement on the studio Event Page.

MUSIC: For Your Opening Reception~Small space available for LIVE acoustic performance by a musician arranged by you. Additional FEES will apply if you'd like the studio to find one for you.
Gallery Activities Policies & Procedures Rental Agreement
Event Capacity: 15 people (standing) for gatherings and presentations. Flow capacity allows for admission of additional visitors through the course of your event.
REFUNDS: The rental fee is NON-Refundable. After paying your deposit; if you cancel or reschedule within FIVE days after this payment to the studio your 50% deposit will be refunded in full. Deposits are NON-Refundable after that FIVE days.
*Exceptions: If for any reason, the studio owner must cancel or reschedule your event, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid.
Food & Beverages: The studio does not provide refreshments OR food preparation and/or storage facilities for refreshments for your event. There is a bar to use to serve your own Food & Beverages at your Event Opening. Your signage must be openly displayed so that visitors know the origin of the food (i.e. “Refreshments provided by Local Volunteers” or “Refreshments Provided by XYZ Catering”). For Adult BYOB events, all visitors must be over 21 and verify with I.D. Incentives for designated drivers are recommended (i.e A discount coupon or Free admission if you are charging a fee for your event.) ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY NOT BE STORED, SOLD, OR DISTRIBUTED FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION AT THE STUDIO.
Selling Your Art: A precise inventory list must be provided, verified, and signed prior to Opening. Items which you intend to sell must be clearly marked. Accurate and current contact information must be provided so that visitors can reach you to arrange/discuss purchase of your art. It is customary for buyers to pick up the purchased items at the END of the exhibit. Please specify if you would like buyers to be able to take the art home at an earlier time. The studio is not equipped to store your artwork. Plan to pick up any remaining art the day your show ends.
Parking: Space is LIMITED at the studio. Car-pooling (from Island Park at the bottom of the hill from the studio) is recommended. As long as the event does not interfere with the operation of his business; Bob’s Farm Market across the street will allow visitors to park in his lot. If he happens to be open…check out the great plants and fresh produce he sells there!
Marketing: Your Event will be added to existing FREE studio listings and Press Releases on Social Media and there is space to post your Event Announcement/Poster on the Bulletin Board visible to the public at the front entrance of the studio. The gallery rental fee does NOT cover any additional marketing for your event. You may advertise your event at this location with the above listed hours as desired.
Visitors: A sign-in log is recommended. For the safety of the owner; SheilaLynnK Art Studio reserves the right to expel visitors at any time should the need arise.
Accessibility: Although grant applications are in place to remedy this situation, please advise visitors, For Best Results Contact the studio to discuss or pre-arrange any accessibility concerns.
Participants of all abilities are welcome at Studio Events. The Artist/Owner is a Spinal Arachnoiditis Survivor unable to provide physical assistance to patrons in need. The front entrance has three steps and the outer door entrance is 31" wide. This may be too narrow for a standard wheel chair. Wheel chair access may require assistance of a physically able-bodied person(s).This person is generally permitted to attend paid events at no charge. Weather permitting, a vehicle can pull up in the front drive-way for easy access to the front entrance. Studio space is quite open and, to the best of our ability, tables & chairs can be arranged to meet specific needs if requested in advance. As this is a studio and business in a house built in 1917 in a residential area, specific ADA accessibility requirements have not yet been met. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
