Fierce Fragments was the first piece for "A World Within" from the mixed media series Facing Phases (2009-2012)

This work uses primitive form and shape in modern function and conceptual expressionism to depict the emotional journey through the assessment of the fragments of survival.

Awarded first place in the Wellsville Art Association Annual Member Show October 2010 in the Open Painting Category.

July 1, 2015~ Healing and Sacred Painting at SheilaLynnK Art Studio...the Un-Painting of "Fierce Fragments" a symbolic gesture of releasing myself from the guilt/grief double whammy.
