Here to support and empower Arachnoiditis Survivors during Rehabilitation and Recovery. Sheila helped them tell this story, display original healing art by Arachnoiditis Survivors, encouraged healing through assorted art activities or creative practices used in ancient and modern art therapy applications, provided methods for arachnoiditis survivors to document survival and adaptation through the arts, established a venue to publicize arachnoiditis awareness/prevention events using original art by Arachnoiditis Survivors, and supplied credible links to resources for survivors. Sheila's public and private Patrons make it possible for the content on the website for survivors to remain live and free to the public.

BOFA has been established to increase awareness and participation in the Creative Arts in the Belfast, NY Area.
Established 2009 by Sheila L Kalkbrenner
in loving memory of Amanda Nicole Curcio, daughter, friend, poet, writer, and musician.
This project became independent of the studio in 2026 and is now facilitated and organized by Belfast, NY community volunteers. Membership is open to creative people of all ages residing in Belfast, NY and surrounding areas.
