From The Wild to the Pantry 2016
This work was part of "From the Wild to the Pantry", a photography series highlighting the intrinsic beauty of wild abundance and the practical application of Indigenous Knowledge for Modern Wellness and Sustainable Autonomy in Upstate New York.
Selections from the series have been printed on canvas and framed (by patron request) and were on display during the Spring 2016 Semester at Alfred State College Culinary Arts Department in Wellsville NY.

Related to Marsh Mallow plant, this plant can also be used to create the egg-white consistency necessary to make medicinal marsh mallows. The flowers also work in shampoo.
