This work was part of "From the Wild to the Pantry", a photography series highlighting the intrinsic beauty of wild abundance and the practical application of Indigenous Knowledge for Modern Wellness and Sustainable Autonomy in Upstate New York.

Selections from the series have been printed on canvas and framed (by patron request) and were on display during the Spring 2016 Semester at Alfred State College Culinary Arts Department in Wellsville NY.

Other than wild berries and apples that I have picked since I was a child, this was my first truly Wild Food. I have long adored these flowers in the woods but did not know they were Food until I began this research. SOME DAY LILY PLANTS ARE POISONOUS. BE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT ONE BEFORE EATING ANY.
