This work was part of "From the Wild to the Pantry", a photography series highlighting the intrinsic beauty of wild abundance and the practical application of Indigenous Knowledge for Modern Wellness and Sustainable Autonomy in Upstate New York.
Selections from the series have been printed on canvas and framed (by patron request) and were on display during the Spring 2016 Semester at Alfred State College Culinary Arts Department in Wellsville NY.

This plant was the first one. After finding one isolated VERY tall stem of them, I watched for them again the following year. The image hovering in the back of my mind and a dried blossom on my window ledge, I casually searched for its identity for a year or so. When it lead me to Common Mullein everything changed.
